When I search up on IU info it said R&B and soul, I thought she is like bolbbalgan4 that does folk and indie music, the beat and melody is R&B but her tone and the way she sang is not R&B, her voice is too girly and lack of power, I'm a OG listener I like runs and riff, adlib, still to this day African Americans still have the best R&B singers, most of the OG R&B go to church to sing gospel music that is why they developed this soulful voice and singing style, don't get me wrong she is talented,I respect her song composing abilities that is why she is the nation's girl and admired by many kpop idols.

I don't agree with her voice lacking power, she can belt really well if she wanted to. For the album, she chose to do softer music.
