The Bordello: Deviant Indoctrination (redone) & Other Bad News (Patreon)

Well, today has been a rough day for me.  Someone stole my chair at work, a guy sideswiped my dad's van by coming into my dad's lane and then blame my dad, and I guess this cover page.

As you can see the cover page has been redone to exclude bondage.  We can all say this can't be sexual violence without that bondage, just one Emma Frost lying in bed with another, albeit naked, Emma Frost.  

In actuality, I had uploaded this on DeviantArt first but was hesitant to notify you, my patrons, due to certain contentions I had with the artist.  Suffice to say the artist was accepting of my dismay, to put it lightly, of his sudden reversal of his own estimation.  But this also put into question this comic's release.  The artist hasn't exactly responded very quickly to my inquiries of the future but it seems like we are back on track with a redone script and I would like to be optimistic about this, mainly because everything else does not seem that optimistic.  But this is questionable as he hasn't responded to me of his definite acceptance of the changes, though it doesn't mean something will happen or change his mind again.

I must also admit that Venom Widow has been delayed permanently until further notice.  The artist for Venom Widow has not notified me of the continuation of the comic since the end of last year.  I have to say, this foray into parody comics has not been going well.  As most of you know, Venom Widow was the first parody cover page.  I had very high hopes that it would be the first parody comic to be released on this Patreon.  Now, it's anyone's guess.

There are Bat Venom and Cammy's New Toy but I must admit Bordello: Deviant Indoctrination had a faster production pace and lower cost than either of the other two comics which would have allowed Emma Frost's comic to come out before either of them.  I had high hopes on Deviant Indoctrination coming out for a November release but I'll do my best to get Bat Venom to be ready for a November release.  

As such, I don't know if you can expect a black and white comic by April 5.  Some of you may know that I promised to attempt to release a black and white comic in between completed comics but to also be aware I might not be able to do so.  More than likely the next comic will be a completed one that will be released in May 5.  At least I got that one prepared.  It won't be a parody comic since Venom Widow was defenestrated on that account.   I feel like I gambled badly on this thinking Venom Widow and Bordello Deviant Indoctrination are the surest comics to bet on since they were the quickest and cheapest to be done with quality compared to any other parody cover page.  

That being said, I do apologize for all of this.  This is all pretty depressing and I wanted this place to be bright and happy, with you, my patrons, enjoying everything you see.  But I vowed to be open and honest with you all and I must speak the truth, especially when it comes to delays and questionable releases.  I ask for your patience and understanding and hope you can stay as patrons as long as you can as I continue to be open and honest, despite how depressing it can be.  I thank you all for taking a chance with this Patreon and I hope to one day release comics on a monthly basis with at least 10 pages minimum.
