July rewards! Goblin slayer!! (Patreon)

Hey guys!!! Patreon is coming back in July! And we are finally going to be doing goblin slayer as promised!! We had to postpone this costume because of our move but now we will finally start working on him! We are still in the process of moving so things are gonna be a bit tough but I'm so excited to work on cosplays again!

So in July it's going to be all about creating badass armor, including in depth construction, painting and attaching! So if you want to learn more about making cosplay armor this is gonna be for you! This is also going to be out first male cosplay which is AWESOME! Finally some patterns for the guys! :D

So here's the full list of the rewards for July. We will be making the full top half of the goblin slayer cosplay. The second half will continue into August next month because this is such a crazy detailed costume!


In the $5+ tiers We will be sending out 4 tutorial books! Each detailing how to make a certain part of the goblin slayer cosplay. So the first book will be for the helmet! Showing fill construction and paint as well as how it attaches. We will also have a book for all the sewing! Goblin slayer actually has some pretty detailed sewing with all the layers under the armor and his fur collar. and then we will have a book for the breastplate and a book for the shoulders!

Then for the $10+ tiers we will send out all the patterns to make the costume! So that includes patterns for the helmet, vest, collar, shirt, breastplate and shoulders!

We are sorry again that we had to delay this costume but we hope you guys are as excited as we are for this new costume!

I'm not sure if I'm doing this wrong, but there must be a different way of doing it. At the moment, when I want the patterns for a project, I change my tier from $5 to $10 (once it gets released which one is being made), but that results in me being charged the $10 immediately, even if I've already paid $5 at the beginning of the month, and then again $10 at the beginning of the next month. So instead of paying $10 for the patterns + tutorials, I end up paying $25 😕

Try canceling your sub and then resubbing when you know what's going on for the month? That's what I would do if I wanted to flip. I just stick with $10 personally

That might be the only way to do it, although I would love if there was a less cumbersome way 😞

This method of swapping payments should work though! Normally if you pledge up from the $5 tier to $10 tier you will only pay the $5 extra. But if patreon is charging you for the full pledge then I think something is wrong :( and you may need to speak to them about it as they are the ones who do the charges. We are super sorry about the inconvenience! This is not how this is supposed to work. However I see you changed your pledge this month on patreon? Currently our patreon is paused. So you would not have been charged for June in the $5 tier, but then when you changed your pledge it would have charged you the full $10. Its really silly that patreon still charges new pledges/tier changes when you have paused it XD But in a normal month this wouldnt happen.

It makes sense! Thanks for the in depth reply. I'll make sure that I modify my pledge on the actual month in the future, so I don't pay twice and if I'm still having issues, I'll contact patreon :)
