A Life Update (Patreon)

Hello lovely people (ᵔ◡ᵔ)

I hope you had a great Easter and month so far.

Wanted to give you a "small" life update and overall share my latest thoughts.

Update 1

As you can tell i'm clearly not incredibly active or my activity is usually like a rollercoaster.

I used to have a lot of mental breakdowns here and there over art, because apart from it being an unstable career choice, you must really be carefree so you won't start feeling terrible amongst a sea of incredibly talented artists and constantly comparing yourself to everyone, their following numbers, personality, art style etc

It's very toxic and draining when you don't have the right mindset.

Lately I feel better about all this but i can't stop myself from wanting improvement.

My goal is to head towards a path that I make art fast, consistently and with a style that I enjoy.

I tried a lot of shading styles, brush set, tutorials, which made my art inconsistent for a good while...but for the past months I had enough.

Been making art but didn't feel it represented me, so I had to take time to figure out why and study it.

The Gothic Chel piece, the Yoruichi sheet, Rosalina and Peach are probably a good sum up of what I want it to be but i apologize because it made me lack content because of trying  (×﹏×)

Transitioning from pencils to digital had a lot to teach me but I'm finally getting where I want to be, so thank you for being with me on this journey.

Update 2

Except for my artistic crisis, my life turned 360 overall this year as I got engaged...and currently planning to move overseas, which is the cause of many back and forth trips that sometimes make my work schedule pretty chaotic.

Having to deal with life outside of work is insane and often time doesn't seem enough, but I'm generally very happy and optimistic about this year and what it will bring.

I'm perpetually grateful for my community and soon I hope to have my art where I want it to be, so I would love to keep all of your support  (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)
