Another D&D-inspired story - this time, the Sympathy spell, which enchants a place or object such that people will do anything to touch or be near it. I've had a few requests for this one, and really, I may have even gone overboard with a little over 9k words. I guess I was just having fun. :)

I may be finally losing a little steam on my D&D stories and start branching out into other projects. If y'all have thoughts or suggestions, feel free to let me know - I write what I write, but I do like to make an effort to write stuff people want to read (most of the time, anyway).

Also, thanks and welcome to my new patrons! Hope you enjoy what you find. I don't put this disclaimer on every piece, but just as a head's up, my early releases have minimal proofreading done. I usually do that later in the week, closer to the deadline for the EMCSA. Still, my first drafts are usually reasonably clean, so hopefully you won't find cause to judge me too harshly.

Enjoy!

If the D&D subject isn't to old for you. How about a guy who gets an D&D class and over some chapters (I like stories with multiple chapters) gets more Level?

I am DMing 3 different games right now, aside from writing, so D&D is pretty much in my blood by now. I have something akin to that in mind - at least a multi-parter about a fledgling bard that builds, if not traditionally leveling up. (No offense to Dirge of Dread or anything, but... ya.) It might not start in this next update, but before long. Thanks for the suggestion!
