TIOS, Chapter 6 (Patreon)

I have a higher opinion of you than that, promise. :) Anyway, that aside, here we are with chapter 6 of TIOS. We finish out this first zany week after the body swap with some exploring of things between Conner and Hailey, as well as a new twist and a reveal that maybe isn't all that shocking to us but sure is for Conner.

Sometimes it feels a bit like writing for one of those vampire stories where you have to strain to imagine characters who don't live in our world where everyone knows about vampires, so you sharpen some wood and go right for the heart with a holy symbol in your open hand and a ring of garlic around your neck. Writing characters who don't get that they're subject to the tropes of an MC story makes them feel almost dense at times, but then, why would somebody with a stunted imagination imagine any of this?
