Howdy everybody! I'd been trying to get a Halloween-themed story before it was too late, and after an all-nighter I managed to produce one. Some of you may remember The Curio Shoppe, a piece I wrote for last Halloween, in which a boy picks up the store's only functioning costume-that-turns-you-into-the-costume, which as it so happens was a supervillain mind-controller.

Well this year, we return to the shoppe the day after Halloween when a very irate young woman with an out-of-control sex drive and a body that could melt steel storms in demanding she be returned to the way she was after being fed a potion her boyfriend bought at the store. (Not a spoiler - all stuff explained in the first few paragraphs.) It's not poetry, but I think it's got a little fun to it. This one will be shared with a global audience, but you get first dibs.

Anyway, it's silly fun for silly reasons, and hopefully you good folks are enjoying your own Halloween shenanigans. With nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) upon us, I aim to see if I can't churn out the third (and probably final) installment of The Secret of Harmony Reed while still getting some other projects done, so look to see some of that coming your way.

Happy Halloween!
