This is a story that began as the monthly commission drawing for July,  but I got kind of carried away with it and it took on a life of its own.  I always find it interesting in commissions how different folks have  different levels of specificity they want. Some people give me only the  vaguest of direction - "something kinda like Tolerance, maybe" - and  others are knitty gritty from names to appearances to plot outlines. It  takes me back to a class I took a class on creativity, and really, it's  kind of like coloring. Some people want a blank piece of paper, and some  folks want a coloring book. Me, I happen to enjoy both.

Anyways, this was one of the former. It started with the simplest of prompts - something with some romance in it, and something with some supernatural, maybe some kind of succubus pact. What evolved is a tale of a lonely warlock who's got a thing for the cutie next door, and goes to the end of the multiverse to get help seducing her. It's got some heart, some humor (I hope), some steam. I'll post the link when it goes live, and for my $20 patrons, see the following post for your free copy.

I'll publish an excerpt when it goes live, but for now, here's the cover art (done by my own super-amateurish self). Excited to be publishing!

Nice to see some insight into how a commission can evolve. I hope it does well on amazon :)
