This is another installment in the series -- by now Lauren's figured out what's happening to her, but when you dabble with things you're not meant to dabble in, you can't be surprised when you lose control. I hope you like it.
Just a head's up, I'm on vacation this week, my first in a very long time. (Nothing exciting, just hanging out with old friends. Low key.) I'll be back to work for y'all 7/9, where I'll be looking to oil up the machine and get it producing again. Look to see some sneak previews of Book 2 of The Secret of Harmony Reed, and I have a backlog of fresh short ideas to get to. In the meantime, for my fellow Americans, have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
