Important Update (Patreon)

$10 tier will either be increased in cost or limited to 1 character/2 half body characters in September. It will be put to a vote pertaining to which one patrons would rather prefer.

Depending on who leaves or reduces their pledge and who continues their pledge, the limit will be reduced as each individual leaves the tier until it has reached 10 patrons. If patrons would rather it be at an increased price with the same content, a new tier will need to be made. Patrons will need to reduce their pledge to $1 (will not be charged upon reducing) or exit altogether. This tier will be made available to join on the 1st of September. When joining the tier, patrons will be charged the difference for joining the tier so there should be no extra cost.

Next month will be the last month I do 2 character sketches for the $10 tier. I will be either be increasing the amount for the tier or restricting it to 1 character or 2 half body characters. As it currently stands, I only make $5 per 2 character sketch. While it may be a $10 tier, $5 initially gets you Source files and timelapse videos. If these were commissions they'd be going for about $10 per character. Albeit some are made to be half body in order to bring focus to a certain subject, but these are generally full body.

I made this page in hopes of making enough to do what I want to do and be supported for it to create more, all the while adhering to what my supporters want through the polls. Instead it has only become an extension of my commission workload along with the stress that comes with it. I find myself constantly struggling with most requests while others i'm just not as invested in. Art has stopped becoming an enjoyable hobby and instead has become something I loathe and fear. So when I say "I will try and have the poll image up by...." or "there should be more colored images," that's really just wishful thinking at this point. 

I thought I could handle taking as many as I could since they were just sketches, but at some point with certain ideas it just became overwhelming. This along with a patreon page that doesn't really seem to grow, and sees more patrons leaving every time another joins, creates a lack of motivation and in turn hampers overall progress. I truly appreciate those who have supported me in the long run, this being main reason I don't want to touch the $1 tier. Although I feel that I may have to do what some other artists do and make it so viewing the the work doesn't start until about $3-5 and have the $1 tier just be a "tip jar." I want to see where this change leads me first before I commit to that decision.

So I will be putting it to a vote for all to take part in, open to even those who just happen to stumble upon the page. Would you rather keep the content the same, but have it cost more to join the tier? Or would you rather keep the cost the same but restrict the content of the sketch?

I don't want to sound "self-entitled" or sound like i'm saying "I deserve more for what I do....HARUMF!" I'm completely aware I make more than most who try to make it on here (in terms of nsfw content), but there is also a share that make up to 5x what I make on just things they like posting as opposed to taking commissions or requests. Others who don't post as many images as I do or keep patrons up to date. It's something that makes you reflect and think; "am I doing something wrong?," "am I asking for too much?," "am I just not good enough?"
