Man, I do love a good rainy day. It's my second favorite weather (coming after snow) and the clouds make for great photos. The direct sun can be very harsh, so the clouds really help to soften the lighting making for a more even, flattering light. I was supposed to be shooting studio stuff with Radiant, but I wanted to do at least one outdoorsy photo to take advantage of the weather.

Fortunately for me, the weather has been cloudy and rainy all weekend! I don't know if I've ever seen 3 days in a row in Vegas like this. Yesterday it rained all day instead of the normal torrential downpour for 5 minutes ending with a 15 minute flash flood.  Don't get me wrong, we had the flooding still, but I felt like it was slightly more justified after hours of rain. ;)

Today was going to be my day off to catch up on things, but alas, I will be working. We're heading out to the swap meet so I can pick up some things for a shoot I'm styling this week, then I'll be shipping some merch and ending with more tax prep. Ew! At least I get to be makeup-free today. :D
