Colosseum (Patreon)

I find history fascinating and even more so when presented well. I had trouble staying alert at The Vatican due to how many people were crammed into each space and being on a guided tour with headphones on, but the Colosseum tour (though with the same company) was much more enjoyable for me due to being able to walk around and spread out more. I love being outside anyways, so I think that helped. The history of this giant arena is so barbaric, but still intriguing. It gave me such a sense of awe to walk around and really think about the gruesome things that had happened centuries ago just where I was standing. We also toured the Forum, and my goodness, even in ruins it was beautiful. I’m going to do a big Dropbox folder of everything to share with you all once I get some time to organize better. 💗
