Just rest!

Unfortunately, the wind got real crazy today when it looked like it was going to rain, so laying down the tarps on the roof was no easy task. I was trying to spread out my body as much as possible to hold down the tarp, but the more I spread my limbs the more I felt like a gust of wind was going to blow under the tarp and shoot me off the roof. Clearly (and thankfully), that didn't not happen.

It has been a very tiring two days since I've been home. This roof work is no joke. I'm not sure if any of you have ever ripped shingles off a roof, but my goodness...I am beat. I've also been making food for everyone, so it's kind of a break to do that. I very much enjoy doing things for other people, especially things that genuinely help. Getting nutritious good in the body goes a long way for days like these.

Now...that being said about nutrition, we also went to the Heart Attack Grill for the first time tonight and OMG...it was so much fun!!! The food was decent, not gross like I had heard, so that was a plus too. I'll post some of that stuff here later, but there lots on my IG stories right now. 😁
