D:BB - First, the good news!  Without a doubt after I tested it several times, Impresario has found a solution to the lag on D:BB!  So, it is implemented for the next release (Public Asylum / Patreon Graveyard).  Of course, if you want to keep using skips for now in the beta, I am going to keep doing that too so that the latest things are being bug checked, but if you start a new game or on the final release when you play through it entirely, you'll be able to remove the lag at will.

SB:C - Yes, now for the bad news!  It hit me hard, but last night BlankSubroutine said that he can no longer work on Slugs and Bugs: Conversion, and surprisingly, had done no work at all.  So, first Isaac, now Blank.  So, as before, if you actually have time, work ethics, and commitment, and would like to volunteer to program this game, please let me know.  The whole damn thing is done, I just need someone that I can rely on to program it for me.  I'd learn Unity and it it myself, but I already spend all my time creating and could not do that AND everything else that I do.  So, please let me know if you desire to see this game and can program it for me!

General News - I feel as upset as I did with Isaac.  It's really annoying that people say they can do something and yet accomplish nothing at all.  I am excited about the lag issues being resolved, since we can use it in future HTML titles as well.  Nef set up a Reddit for the anaxverse:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Anaxverse/

I don't really use the site, but the more people I can interest in my work the better the chances are that I can achieve my goals.  The wiki is growing by leaps and bounds as well, and I uploaded over 100 pictures.  I think that's about it.  I am very upset about this SB:C setback.  If any of you were patroning me specifically and only for that title, I understand if you must depart.  Hopefully, a fan will step forward to make it a reality for us all!

As usual, please feel free to leave feedback here or ask questions and same in Discord!  Thanks for supporting all this hard work, and for understanding my personal disappointment and frustration with the situation.

I know things are not that simple, but no matter what, D: BB is almost over. As long as D: BB is over, you can start to work on SB: C. . Although I am still a bit disappointed by this, it is also normal. It is not easy to find a free programmer, and at the same time, make sure that the programmer is reliable, and you still have to rely on yourself. . I will continue to wait patiently until I can play SB: C

Honestly there is no more work I can really do for the project. That is to say that it already has 1600 renders and the entire script, all the stats, all the equations, all the dialogue, the music, and the sound effects! I only need to be able to have a programmer put them together.

Hey Anaximanes, i's sorry to hear the bead news on SB:C i really look forward to it. I might have a solution that might get things back on track. There are several sites that over freelance jobs, also in Unity like upwork.com etc. You can hire a guy from india with several years on Unity experiance for 7 dollar an hour. for 500 dollars someone like that can workt two weeks fulltime like 80 hours (if needed you can problably hire one for 100 a month to update etc). I cost money of course but can get things back on track. Good game output wil also entice more followers on patreon. I personally liked Cult of corruption but never got into D:BB. SB:C could really hook me. I really love your work and and really home on new games and stories. Keep your spirit up, your awesome

Thanks! And thank you for the suggestion! Ultimately as my Patreon grew, my idea was to hire programmers as you said. Unfortunately, I need to make around $3000 a month just for my own self in order to survive, and as you can see I am just over 50% there, so until i start getting closer to 4k a month, I would not be able to afford them. Still, thank you!
