hello from sunny BUT FREEZING COLD Brooklyn! ☀

how's been your week so far ma loves? My Tuesday has been pretty lovely; Lou officially came back to work and it's been so nice to catch up and work together again : .. )

I've been having so much fun working on my sketchbook lately; since I'm reading more, I noticed how cool it is to draw the current book-cover I'm reading, plus any thoughts or reactions to the story. Same with music and vinyls! I noticed when I re-read my old sketchbooks, the parts I enjoy the most are the ones where I share my thoughts, feelings or what I was doing at the time, so I think I wanna be more mindful to draw those moments from now onwards.

I also drew a 2022 mood-board! I haven't done this in a while, and part of me felt silly for doing it. Strange because I do believe in manifesting and visualizing what you want and wish. So I noticed those judge-y feelings, acknowledged them, and carried on:

I'm so glad I did because I had THE BEST time drawing it; it also helped me get excited for this year : ... ) now my mood-board is on my bedroom wall and I see it every morning when I'm getting ready.
