*ENGLISH VERSION*
In this episode: I had my last therapy session, saying yes to friends, last weekend in our dark flat, chess and things I'm working on!
Both apps I mentioned on this episode are: Bumble (for dating, friendships and networking) and Chess.
Things I've been enjoying:
• Ed sent me (a while back) this YT channel with lots of "live" poses for practicing!
• Love Tricky wagon channel (lots of artist vlogs, aka. my crack!)
• Gotta listen Andy's work playlist
• I know I don't need them, but I'd love to try these chalks
• asmr for artists, by the wonderful Angelina
• I can't stop staring at this painting, the light is insane
• Also this illustration by Ricardo Bessa
• Tina's take on Brené Brown's latest talk on Netflix
• Brené Brown's talk on Netflix (The Call to Courage)
• Everything from YUK FUN, their twitter feed inspires me so much!
• Salad Days (these illustrations smell like summer, right?)
non related: The AOI interviewed me!
Watching: Lisa Hanawalt’s Tuca and Bertie (on Netflix) and One Punch Man season two!
On Lisa Hanawalt, she was interview by The New York Times, this is why I love Tuca and Bertie so much:
“The character reveal parts of woman we rarely see one screen - the strangest, horniest, hungriest parts. “It was very important to me to show that women are gross” "
500 Albums Project: I think it's oficial, I like Randy Newman. This is 12 songs
What I mentioned on the podcast: Things I learned in therapy* (featuring, Jeffrey's whiteboard)
*so sorry for all the misspellings.
Recipe for success are all the things I learned during therapy that changed me: not canceling my feelings, being aware of my mind and body in stressful/anxious situations, asking myself "what are the real odds of this happening?" when spiraling down or over-worrying, and TO BREATHE.
Recipe for becoming stuck, or "red flags" are things to pay attention to: spiraling down, catastrophizing (basically making everything worse in your mind), not asking for help, feeling unworthy/judging myself.
unrelated: all the boxes from Hastings arrived, and this is what my studio currently looks like:
