Illustration Club, HELLO! (Patreon)

Welcome my loves to the first month of our illustration club! YAAAY! THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE! First of all: I still need to figure out some details (I owe you the starters-pack post plus some ground guidelines!) but I wanted to start right away because I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER.

Second, and most importantly: ANYONE here can join, you don't have to sign in. If you're here and you're reading this, it means you can participate. 

I think it's a GREAT idea, like you guys suggested, if each month should have themes or subjects to practice around. That way we can concentrate in one thing every month: things we need to practice or improve, topics we'd like to discuss, challenges and so on.

I noticed I REALLY could practice greenery/vegetation; forests, trees, bushes, plants and flowers. Could we use greenery as our first theme for November?

Bienvenidos mis nerds al primer mes de nuestro Club de Ilustración! YAAAY! GRACIAS POR ESTAR AQUÍ! Primero que todo: aun tengo que pensar algunos detalles (les debo aun el kit para partir y algunas guías de base!) pero quería partir de una vez porque NO PUEDO ESPERAR MÁS.

Segundo, y más importante: CUALQUIERA aquí puede sumarse, no tienen que inscribirse. Si están aquí y están leyendo esto, significa que pueden participar.

Creo que es una idea GENIAL, la que ustedes sugirieron, que cada mes tenga un tema o asignaturas para practicar. Así nos podemos concentrar en una cosa cada mes: cosas que mejorar o practicar, temas que discutir, retos y así.

Me di cuenta que NECESITO practicar vegetación: bosques, árboles, arbustos, plantas y flores. Podríamos tomar vegetación como nuestro primer tema durante Noviembre? 

I'm reading Tove Jansson's book and she says John Bauer's forests were a big inspiration for her, and I can totally see his influence on her work! My inspiration for greenery: Isabelle Arsenault and Cyril Pedrosa. My idea is to take them as starting point but to develop my own way of drawing and painting greenery. Does that make sense? Who's your inspiration for greenery?

Estoy leyendo el libro de Tove Jansson y ella dice que los bosques de John Bauer son una gran inspiración para ella, y puedo ver su influencia en su trabajo! Mi inspiración para vegetación:  Isabelle Arsenault y Cyril Pedrosa. Mi idea es tomarlos como punto de partida pero ir trabajando mi propia forma de dibujar y pintar vegetación. Tiene sentido lo que digo? Cuál es su inspiración para vegetación?
