Chapter 18: A Full House

Kayden visited me three days after the Endbringer battle. She came with both Theo and Aster in tow.

“Arthur.”

“Kayden!” I greeted her enthusiastically. “How are you?”

“I’m… well, homeless.”

I blinked before facepalming. “Right, right. You lived in Downtown and Leviathan messed it up.”

She nodded. “I was hoping that you would … let me stay.”

I opened the door wider. “Sure!” I turned to Theo. “You are also welcome, nephew.”

“Thank you, uncle,” he replied shyly.

I stopped him right there.

“Theo, you are a man. If you wish to succeed out there, then you must be confident. Otherwise, whether you are powerful, useful, or useless, people will try to take advantage of you, to browbeat you into making you serve them. So I want you to straighten your back and say that again.”

He did. His face, forlorn until now, hardened. “Thank you, uncle.”

“Good,” I nodded. “Also, I’m your dad. I’m not interested in being Kaiser or a Nazi. You don’t need to say things you don’t want to say in my house.”

He looked surprised at my candid words and looked to Kayden. She nodded.

They came into the house, and noticed Nessa, Jessica, and Claire all lounging in the living room. The latter three saw the former three, and quickly came to greet them.

I smiled from behind Theo and Kayden.

With her in the house, it would now be very easy for me to bring her into the fold.

I got that chance when Kayden ended up groaning about back pain a few weeks later.

I’ve been getting closer to her during her stay here, and she didn’t move out as quickly as she could have. She wasn’t poor by any means. If she truly wanted, then she could have moved onto Boston or elsewhere within a week.

But she didn’t. She stole glances at me. She sometimes even stayed awake to listen to the four of make love deep into the night.

Considering that she was shorter than the twins yet had the same bust size, she was being legitimate. She was relaxing face down on the couch when I came over and began to roll my knuckles down her spine.

“A-Arthur?”

“Relax, it’s just a massage.”

Her blush grew redder.

“I’m not like Max. I don’t see a need to lie. Lying creates the worst foundation for any good and long relationship, and I want that with you.”

“... But I’m not like Claire.”

“What about her?”

“I’m not … pure.”

I chuckled before turning her face towards me and pressing my forehead against hers. “Do you think I care about that? Just give me and yourself a chance, Kayden.”

She didn’t reply for a long time. Our eyes stared into each other before she gave me a nod.

I kissed her, and she slowly kissed me back. My hands ran up her side and … groped her.

She squeaked before it turned into a moan, which became throatier when I drifted my right hand down and slid it under her skirt and rubbed her clit.

I pulled away from the kiss, pulled my hands away, and then scooped her up. I carried her to my bedroom, and locked the door behind me. My four women looked at me.

Nessa snorted. “All three of us are pregnant, and none of us don’t want to go anywhere. I think I’m speaking for Jess too when I say that I’m staying.”

“I-I’m staying, too!” Claire spoke up.

We looked to Kayden.

“I’m…” she hesitated. “I want to stay.”

“Then who’s the top wife?” I asked. “For practical purposes, I think it has to be either Jess or Ness.”

Claire looked hurt.

“It’s because of your age, Claire. As much as I love you, it is still illegal.”

She paused and nodded sullenly.

“But you’re going to be giving birth first, so you will give me my first child!”

Claire looked better. “R-Right! And I’m going to be in your bed a lot, you hear me?”

“Fine with me.”

“I only want one more child,” Kayden spoke up. “But I don’t mind being a little on the sideline. I have to raise Theo and Aster and …” she ran her hands over her smooth and flat stomach. We did it raw, so there was a chance she was pregnant right now. If not now, then tonight, tomorrow, and within the week.

“We’ll help you,” Jessica said firmly. “And don’t you dare say that we don’t need to. This is our family.”

I was happy. I had Kayden, Claire, Jessica, and Nessa.
