Hello, the first update for April is ready! But before we start with the previews, we will have a new, 3rd bonus set for April! It will be 3 years in April since we started Epic Miniatures, and we want to celebrate that. It is also Easter in April, so we will release a total of 147 new models! This will be our biggest new model release so far. Additionally, you will also get the throwback set(s) of course. 😃

The first April set is called "Eternal Fungi" and is about Mushrooms! Some swamp related stuff is added too for good measure. Please enjoy the preview images!

Manticore Classic - A classic Manticore with a flat, humanoid face!

Ancient Spore Druid - A Druid that is closely connected to the Fungus network. It protects the Mushroom-Folk since ancient times.

Fungus Queen - An otherworldly creature that rules the Fungus network. She seems to be immortal. Death is only a small pause for her. If you want to stop her, you should find out why that is.

Carrion Worm - A giant worm that lives by digesting humanoid carrion. It sometimes gets tamed by Fungi-people and used as mounts and carrying stuff.

Snail Mage - Someone from the Snail Folk is a rare to encounter for humans. They have a close connection to the Frog-Folk though. This particular mage lives in the fungi infested lands. Its wisdom may be of great help to get rid of the mushrooms.

Frog Warlock - The Frog Folk were one of the first that fell victim to the Mushroom Infestation in their swamp. This powerful Warlock-Frog is determined to get rid of the mushrooms for good.

Moth Girl - The Mothfolk from the newly infested Swamp also want to get rid of the mushrooms. This moth princess is willing to help in the fight too!

Moth Warrior - The Mothfolk has send out their most powerful Warrior to clear the mushroom infestation.

Mushroom Goblin - Some races with lower willpower, like the Swamp-Goblins, already fell under the control of the Fungus Queen. The Mushroom Infestation is not reversible at this stage.

Swamp Hag - Who is responsible for the sudden Fungi Infestation? Many suspect the old hag living in a lonely hut in the swamp. It is known that she is trying to summon a dangerous Demoness from the Abyss for a long time now. Maybe she finally succeeded?

Spider Mushroom - A fungi beast right out of the Abyss. These things spread the mushroom infestation in an unimaginable speed.

Fungi Demoness - Also known as the Demon Queen of the Fungi. Is she the real culprit behind the infestation? Is the Fungi Queen only one of her many Avatars? It would explain the Fungi Queens immortality.

Giant Summoned Snake - The Fungi Demoness can summon many beasts from the Abyss. One of them are these snakes. It may look like a dumb beast in the first glance, but it is in fact a demon and surprisingly intelligent! His hobbies are infesting the world with snakes and reading. A true bookworm.

Mold Lord - Mold is just another form of Fungi. This Mold Lord is working directly under the Fungi Demoness as one of his General. Don't breath to much near him!

Fungus Golem - These Golems are the creation of the Fungus Queen and some of her most powerful underlings! It has infecting tendrils on one arm and is coated with protective barnacle shells. Its only weakness is heat, since it operates on a lot of water.

Mushroom Folk - The Mushroom Folk will do anything to protect their Queen. They would even walk into fire if the queen ordered it.

Fungus Tree - The trees in a mushroom infested forest don't simply disappear. They get assimilated and become mushrooms themselves!

Revealed 52 of 147 new April models. More to be shown soon.

Thank You!

epic_miniatures

We will definitely do more peaceful mushrooms in the future. With this set we wanted to explore the spread of the Fungi Infection and the controlling Demoness behind it. 😃

Very cool!! I need to get better at painting…so many ideas!

epic_miniatures

Thank you John! Don't worry about painting quality, just paint as you like. The benefit of 3D printing is, that we can produce as many of the minis as we want/need. So if you don't like how a paint job is going, you can restart with a second one anytime you want. 3D printing takes a huge burden from painters. 😃

NakedSunFlower

Are you turning three in April? Great. You've come a long way already. May it continue like this for years to come.

Vulture

Dang, I wish we had a few more poses for that manticore - very nice!

epic_miniatures

Thank you! The set was already really full, but we will surely make another manticore in the future. 😃

And we will be here for the next three and beyond:) Congratulations and thank you for everything from the Crypt of the dead's awesome lich, to all of the amazing shroom dudes in this last post. You guys crush it every month, Happy 3erd. Do you know how many minis you have made in the first three years? That will be an amazing number I'm sure. We appreciate every one of them:) Thanks again ScatterMasters

The studious snake is brilliant.

Thank you! Imagine stumbling on an ancient library in your adventures and encountering this snake, studying there for centuries and forgot about time.
