I'm not seeing thick and thin pre-supports being included separately this release, are the included pre-supports thick or thin?

Steven Crawford

Only one set of supports? Is this new, or more are pending?

Dwayne Hinton

no idea what yall are talking about with supports. as long as there are copies that are NOT supported, then i'm golden. :)

Hello, the supports that are included are the thin (test printed) supports. We decided to not continue the thick supports anymore. They were not test printed and made the most problems to our Patrons. Further, having 2 sets of pre-supports confused many of our Patrons. We will test this out for a while and see if there was ever a need to have 2 sets of supports to begin with.

Is there any kind of database or Google sheet that organizes all these sets? I've been a patron literally since the first set and I'm finding it hard to find the minis I want to print. Some way to sort or search via tags would be amazing.

I have this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1l9qQkPHKS1QS2R6UL03XDXAREr6HhTmvXSOKBMQJABI/edit?usp=sharing

Adding the model numbers to the large pic sheet that comes with each release would help

Quick question - I notice in the March release, there is no "THICK" or "THIN" supported option. Just one presupported folder. Is this the better "THIN" option or something else? It isn't clear. Please advise.

epic_miniatures

Hello Alex, we only continue with the test printed Thin supports from this release forward. Many Patrons experienced issues with the thick supports and there was a lot of confusion about which to use. This should make things more mainstream.

Thanks Epic! I'm having great success with the printing of the miniatures and just saying thanks!

The Google Drive pre-supported Savage Mountains is showing an invalid format on my Mac. I'm not sure if others are encountering a similar issue or if it's just me

epic_miniatures

Hello Andrew, it is the first time I hear of this issue. I can't try it myself since I don't use a Mac. Have you tried downloading it again or from another mirror link?

Anonymous

I get the same issue. My Mac doesn't recognize the zip file. Also from the same source. Trying another mirror now. update: dropbox mirror worked fine.
