Hello, here is the first preview of our new Sci-Fi/Modern Themed Patreon, Invictus Miniatures! We will cover many themes over there, from Warhammer to Wasteland stuff and even Space Warfare!

And we wanted to give our loyal Patrons here on Epic Miniatures a special promotion. We created a $9 Promotion Tier that is limited to the first 300 Patrons!

For now, the releases are smaller then the ones here on Epic Miniatures, but we intend to raise the model count the more Patrons we get there. We started small on Epic Miniatures too. 😃

The first set is called "Alien Invasion" and will contain 22 models. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment. Without further ado, here are the model previews for Invictus Miniatures:

Alien Queen - The Queen of the invading Alien Army. She may be related to eldritch horrors lurking in the void.

Alien Crawler - Alien Cavalry that crawls and attacks in incredible speeds. Their stings contain parasites that will turn their victims crazy over time.

One Eye Alien Infantry - The infantry of the Alien Army. Some say that they are turned humanoids. They posses a very powerful, one time Eye Beam attack.

Night Vision Infantry - These soldiers are specialized in fighting in dark areas. They have special helmets that allow them to have night-vision and also infrared-vision.

Alien Stingray - An aquatic alien that can also fly outside of the water. They can breed and reproduce outide of the Alien Queens control.

Space Scout Tank - A tank created to drive in any terrain, even extraterrestrial ones. Not many creatures can withstand an atack of its heavy canon.

Infected Alien Jet - It is assumed that the Aliens attacking earth have hijacked these space crafts and infected their biological components. It is a mystery who first build them originally though.

Aliens Robot Servant - Robots that get controlled by the hive mind. Scientists assume that they were part of the Alien Jets defense force before it was infected.

Exoskeleton Soldier - Soldier that can keep up with the physical strength of the Alien Invaders with the help of technology.

Revealed 22 of 22 new Invictus Miniatures December models.

Thank You!

These are great. I'm still focused on the fantasy theme, but if the shop grows enough, I may pick up a second license to sell the sci-fi.

For those who already have a merchant license for the epic minatures set, will the license cross over or be separate?

epic_miniatures

Hello Chris, a different team of sculptors is working on Invictus Miniatures. To secure funding of that team, we need to treat it as its own entity, meaning we can't mix the funding and licenses. So you would need a merchant license from Invictus Miniatures to sell the 3D prints from Invictus.

Thanks for the quick reply. 66 nzd for starts? Big investment 👌

I had wondered the same thing, but I ran on the assumption that was the case.

Invictus Miniatures is just a super release! You guys are doing amazing things that deserve the best praise!

Hello, we don't have an "Early Merchant Tier". And a different team of sculptors is working on Invictus Miniatures. To secure funding of that team, we need to treat it as its own entity, meaning we can't mix the funding and licenses. So the merchant tier of Invictus is completely unrelated to the merchant tier of Epic Miniatures. Also please don't post links of the competition in the comments. I have to delete your comment because of that, but you will get this reply as an email.

Not bad to start things off, but I do feel like this set is full of fantasy monsters with a few scifi humanoids thrown in, where a set of fully identifiable scifi models would have done better to grab my attention since I already come here for fantasy miniatures.

epic_miniatures

Well, Alien creatures are sadly only in our "fantasy" for now. 😉 But I get your point though. Next set will be more Warhammer inspired.

Your fantasy line is very DND/Pathfinder inspiration heavy. Do you have particular sources you are using for this? You mentioned warhammer (presumably 40K) in another post so I was just wondering.
