Really like this one from the start. Full of skeletal bosses/ mini bosses or brutes for armies. You can never get enough undead.

Rob Leonard

All good sculpts, but I love the creativity and odd proportions of the Three-Headed Abomination sculpt. Great stuff!

2022-02-11 15:39:01 I have to say I'm troubled. The Three-Headed Abomination is startlingly similar to the Avatar of Lust from CMON's The Others: 7 Sins board game, while the Armored Bone Claw looks very much like Mike Francina's Goetic Knight painting, with a different head and changes to a few other small features.

Hello Kyle, please google "coven horror 5e". It is normal that artists use the same inspiration sometimes. 😃

Kyle Bentley

Hello, I understand that, but what you've sent is a bad example as the creator of the Coven Horror piece copy-pasted the concept art for the board game I'd mentioned as part of his article. He's also releasing his content freely, and citing the original artist, so it's a little different.

I understand your point, but have you ever printed a DnD monster instead of buying the official minis? It is not like that we are distributing any model that is not made by us. We made this model with the same idea they probably had, from scratch. Same with all the models we release that can be used in DnD, we made those from scratch too.

I feel there is a big different between creating a miniature from scratch based on a general archetype (like a kobold) and creating a direct or nearly direct copy of a piece of artwork without seeking permission from or even crediting the original artist, especially when there has already been a miniature made based on that same piece of art.
