Issue #37 Cover Art WIPs (Patreon)

The first version proved too horizontal for the cover, so we ended up going for the 2nd pose mainly because it would be easier to arrange text around it without too much overlap.

The idea for the cover was clear from the beginning, though: we wanted to "tie" it (heh) to kinktober in one way or another, and mild bondage was the first idea I got. Lois being Lois, the story behind the pic would be that she got herself into this mess while trying to get Superman's attention, and Kiwi thought it would be neat to capture the exact moment where Superman flies to help her, hence the awkward smile and the look at the audience's POV (in this case, Superman's).
