The tension and gurgling from his abdomen draws the attention of Hugo who does not return from what he sees.

His belly formerly muscular, became round ... very round ... too round! The bull does not even see his virility still erected.

Kerak, still holding the bull by his legs, decides of change his position to have a better grip on his prey for future events. 

The bull crushed by the weight of his belly and the panther, can not resist and he begins to slip from the chair on which he is installed.
