The sun was shining, the birds singing their happy tunes. To Christopher it seemed like a perfectly normal day. And while most everyone was at work this was his time to get his daily jog in. One doesn't keep such a perfect physique by being a couch potato!

This was his third time around the park, the bulky guy having worked up a bit of a sweat, his breathing a bit more rapid and his heart pounding out a healthy rhythm of life giving beats. Then it happened. That wonderful feeling of euphoria washing over his body and renewing his vigor. Runners high some people called it...Christopher didn't care what it was called he just loved that indescribable feeling of exhaustion and relaxation all swirled together. Man this was going to be a great day!

“Christopher ?” came a silky voice from behind the runner, the human stopping in his tracks as his heart loopdelooped in his chest. That voice...it couldn't be! Christopher turned around only to find himself looking at an ebon statue of a panther...a quite familiar one at that. 

“Kerak!” The human didn't know what to feel...confusion ?
happiness ?l ust ? All he did know was he hadn't seen Kerak since their months long trist at the resort.

The panther smiled shyly as he approached, his shirt unbuttoned to show off his sculpted pecs and chest along with that flawless black fur. Christopher couldn't help but feel the tingle of an arousal in his loins as the feline moved in. But something seemed a bit different. 

For one, Kerak had one had extended and was holding a present. In the other, a balloon in the shape of a heart that read “Be Mine”. The human noticed that under all that fur was a blush...Kerak was blushing ? In all the time they had spent together not once did Christopher recall the panther blushing.

The human recalled receiving a letter with an attached photo from Kerak...so that explained exactly how the panther had tracked him down. But why he did was still unbeknownst to the human.

“Kerak...are you alright ? What are you even doing here...it's been months since we have last seen each other. Mean do you even live around here ?

The panther let out a nervous sigh as he finally spoke again, that voice sending a shiver of joy through the humans body. 

“Christopher I...I'm sorry. I'm sorry it took me this long to realize something. As soon as you left the resort something felt wrong with me. Waking up and not seeing you there, sleeping soundly with a belly full of...well, you know. It felt like a piece was missing from my life. One I had no idea it even existed till you showed up.” The panther shuffled nervously as he continued to speak.

“Christopher. When we first met you said you had to have me. Well...I have to have you. I love you.” The panther extended both hands, presenting Christopher with the presents while also saying “Happy Valentines Day.”

Christopher put his hand behind the back of his head and rubbed. Now he too was blushing beet red! He had forgotten it was valentines day but he never in a million years expected this. The man of his dreams coming out of nowhere confessing his love to the human ? It seemed a bit too perfect,so Christopher pinched himself to see if he was dreaming. The panther was still very much in front of him, those eyes only focused on Christopher.

He didn't know what to say...
