What a game, wow! For sure thought after the second clone of Koma it was gg but that was a sweet tutored combo win from jimmy. Absolutely awesome.

That Battle was a surprising twist, which made me notice something. just looking at the video made me just notice it, nah ya will figure it out, now on my way to nioh 2 partner needs his fast fist fighter.

The more from Kaldheim I see the more I want these sweet cards. Jimmy talking about Magda in the podcast episode actually inspired me to want to build her myself (I have NEVER done mono red in 20 years of mtg) so it was cool to see her in action here!

I did a double-take at 36:09 when Josh was talking about his Commander going to the graveyard, because I forgot that it was bounced to his hand, and I'm like, "That was a discard spell, nothing was removed! Oh, right...." But that's probably just me. Animations are fantabulous.

I dont understand why he didn't just sacrifice coils and stop Jimmy from sacking treasures and pulling out terror of the peaks. Swing in next turn and won. #dontunderstand. I SO miss playing with people. I'd love to play with you guys some time

This isn't any shade to you the stack is definitely very complex but at any point, if he tried to start tapping the treasures jimmy could just sac them in response stopping the whole thing

Benjamin, not tapping treasures, tapping and stopping Jimmy's commanders activated ability. 😎 no activated ability, no search, no death

I'll be honest it been awhile since Jimmy had a win so hey minds well give it to him, even though he decided to be friends with a great water snake, that really was hoping for a dwarfondue feast.

Great game! It's crazy how Simic decks just wreck, but that ending was golden! Always nice to see Rachel and that Toski deck was awesome.

The same thing would happen. If he sacrifices a coil, then that ability goes on the stack. Jimmy can then activate his Commander in response before Koma's ability resolves. Effectively, there is no way for Jacob to use Koma to stop Jimmy from activating Magda once he has enough treasure on board to do so. -JLK

That turn with the Sublime Epiphany was one of the craziest and coolest turns I've seen in a while. Can't decide which deck I like best. Really want to build Toski, but I'll probably make it more of a jank squirrel tribal. Magda gives you so much mana value and Koma is just sick! Already building Toralf, but that dwarf deck looks so good. Great episode guys! Rachel is becoming a favorite, and Jacob was an awesome new guest! Thanks for all you guys do!!

When Josh goes into his turn, it's very quiet for a bit until he plays Rampant Growth Feel a little bad that Rachel's deck didn't really get to do much due to just getting shut down by Koma, but I think Jacob ended up in a bad spot once both Rachel and Jimmy were working against him. Cool game, though! Koma definitely showed off its power there.

Honestly, this was the first time in a while I haven’t enjoyed the game played. The guests were great, some cool moments, and the production is top notch as always, but watching one deck explode and just shut everything down for turn after turn was not fun to watch. I know you all have such a crunch that you only get one shot at a game and sometimes archenemy games just happen, but this one was not fun... sorry!!! Still love you guys and keep doing great work 🤓🤓🤓

Ok, well as a red player I want to play the dwarves. Nice deck, Jimmy. Josh's commander is terrifying, Jacob's is a literal monster, both in art and effect. And uhhh Toski. It's...green? In all seriousness and indestructible squirrel is hilarious.

This was the saltiest I felt watching Command Zone since the Extra Turns with Jesper. I totally understand how games can get out of control, but Jacob's deck was just no fun (and yes I know people like to play that way). But on Game Knights we want to see everyone's creativity shine! We didn't even get to see the JLK value engine in full effect! I know there is not much that you can do to prevent this...I just needed to vent. Absolutely stunning production per usual. You guys are the best &lt;3

The excited " FIERCE GUARDIANSHIP" and crisp slap on the the table with each cast of it was the best thing ever. The episode makes me want to throw, just all the money at the Kaldheim set.

Because the spell says "the next time one or more enter" and since both serpents are entering from different triggers they enter separately. If they were created at the same time by the same effect they would have.

Shouldn't the copy Coma go away once the sakashima of a thousand faces is gone? The legend rule should be back in play and he can only have one Coma.

The copy he made from Sublime Epiphany was of Sakashima, not of Koma. He still gets to ignore the legend rule when the Sakashima card goes away.

Now that was a good episode: every deck showed what it could do and the ending was an unexpected win! (by the commander that I just made a brawl deck with for MTGArena - gotta love it!)

That Koma deck was insane. The way he copied his commander and kept pumping up his board and countering stuff, so cool. Awesome episode as always.

The game was really amazing to watch. Koma was such a great commander. I am not a control player but I am definitely tempted to try him out.

I really enjoyed it, it was fun watching Josh and Jimmy sweat. Great win by Jimmy and I thought the guests were awesome. The Magda deck was actually pretty sweet.

Hey, I tried Googling and didn't find the answer, but Jimmy had Arid Mesa in a deck with Magda. I didn't think you could have lands that tap for colors outside your Commander's color identity? Or is it the fact that Arid Mesa doesn't tap, it only fetches?
