during the combat steps from Moraug around 38 minutes, Moraug only untaps for 2 of those combat steps. Radha should not be able to untap during the main combat phase.

that was definitely the best episode of game knights yet! so much good play! so many awesome graphics! such a close game! great job guys. i can't wait to watch the round table to come after this one! Oh, i almost forgot to mention that AWESOME Hans playmat! that's definitely going on my C-mas list.

^This. Moraug only untaps the creatures during the extra combat steps, and Radha didn't have vigilance. She wouldn't have untapped on the normal combat phase. It's why with Moraug, the usual play pattern is to play the lands in second main phase.

Great episode! - I love that this episode was only partners and that you guys picked all the mythics. - The animations were fantastic as always, especially the Mana Reflection and the Solemn saying “sad robot” 😂 - This was probably one of the craziest Game Knights ever!

Fantastic episode! Loved the moment of Josh throwing a rock at Tevesh Szat, that was awesome. Also so many incredible animations yet again (the Tevesh Szat one was pretty scary actually), and a really nice balance between big power and fun cards.

This hands downs was the best episode of Game Knights, so much interaction from all players I couldn't have asked for a better episode, and the fact that all decks had the opportunity to flourish and show their unique strengths was amazing 10/10. On a side note the fact that Jimmy almost had an infinity gauntlet moment where his commander almost took all of the commanders in the table that was a sight to see.

That episode was soooo good. Lots of back and forth which makes the game fun to watch. But the by far highlight was Josh and his rock. Won't spoil anything else about it in case someone is browsing comments before watching.

Very good game knight episodes, I don't know what to say mostly cause I saw a commander that made me fall apart, :'( Sakashima I found you and you get eaten by your own partner for your first go. Forget this I'm going to just solo hades dungeon with my death wizard on wizard 101 maybe I'll feel better taking out three Greek gods.

WOW!!! This was so much fun; pivotal moments where I thought for SURE someone was going to win only to be swept away. Thanks for entertaining us, especially during these times &lt;3! And a huge congrats to Rachel!

It was great to see all the decks go off! Makes me want to build and play all these commanders. Guest were fantastic. Great all around episode!

At 36:00 Moraug says it untaps the creatures at the *beginning* of the newly created combat step so shouldn't Joe only have been able to attack twice even if he had 3 combat steps since the combats will go in FILO order without untapping at the 3rd combat? It didn't matter much since Kamahl was removed but still worth noting I feel Moraug's Landfall is intended to be triggered on the 2nd main phase.

After calming verse was used I noticed that the mirage mirror was still in play. Is mirage mirror not an enchantment when its a copy of one?

Really good match also, HUGE PROPS on the Animations. They were insanely good this game. Also really cool to see Joe play the Brother and Sister, and play it in a way that plays into each other.

noticed two misplays: josh used ghirapur aether grid to jimmy's planeswalker when it can only be used on target crwature or player, and jimmy drew 2 cards off his zendikar resurgent when flickering solem simulacrum when it's only a CAST trigger not ETB....Lol

So- most of the old cards (including aethergrid) that used to say “target creature or player” have been oracled to say “any target”. And then, Jimmy did not actually flicker Solemn- he flickered Scholar of the Lost Trove, which allowed him to CAST Solemn from his graveyard. -JLK

Awesome game! Loved your guests and all yall decks! But, just so you know, Dockside Extortionist counts enchantments as well so Jimmy's Thassa would have given Josh an extra treasure token! Also, Moraug is really counter0intuitive but since the extra combats happen before the actual combat step, Jo couldn't have attacked a 3rd time with Rahda. As per the Scryfall note for Moraug: If the landfall ability resolves during your precombat main phase, the additional combat phase will happen before your regular combat phase. You’ll untap creatures you control at the beginning of the additional combat but not at the beginning of your regular combat. Finally, it's a technicality but since Zendikar Resurgent is a cast trigger and Solen Simulacrum is ETB, Jimmy should have drawn his 2 cards BEFORE fetching for his basic. (mostly irrelevant but still a misplay)

well it did matter, as he attacked Jimmy with Radha 3 times, and, as played, he should have been able to attack only twice. Joe should have attempted to attack first, and see if he gets the Kamahl trigger, *then* play the Moraug postcombat and the land and explore. Even if Kamahl gets removed then, he's already got a +3/+3 buff to everything. He only gives up the +1/+0 from Moraug on the first attack

This was seriously the best game knights in awhile. Such a great game. And y'all, THOSE ANIMATIONS!!! Seriously the best you've ever done, masterful. The Sakashima face changing before the card? Incredible. Just incredible.

Unfortunately, Ghirapur Aether Grid can't target planeswalkers. So, Jimmy's Tevesh Szat would have been on the battlefield. (However, he would have been able to use the Rock tokens instead if he reordered his plays a little bit.) Other than that rules mistake. The animations were great! And the game had me on the edge of my seat!

Great guests make for a great game! Josh casting that relatively obscure Calming Verse at the perfect time and everyone being close to commanding the board at some point shows why commander is such a fun format! I also loved the animations, they just keep getting better! Still, I was a little sad when Yawgmoth himself was not animated. I mean, he's Yawgmoth!

Well after coming back and looking at the video again, something just hit me with Jimmy turn, why didn't he just use his other commander to copy Dockside Extortionist make a bunch of mana then wait?

I just returned to MtG after a 20 year hiatus when Zendikar Rising came out. I've been enjoying building and playing standard on both paper and arena. Commander has been a little intimidating as far as deck building. After watching these episodes though I've decided to build my first deck. I've got a fun idea and I plan on building around it. Whether or not it will actually win anything remains to be seen, but I think it'll be fun. Also, I played at a Commander Legends Pre-release draft and had an absolute blast playing that format. Thanks for showing how fun the format is, because it can be intimidating for a newbie. Enjoy all your content!
