Infinite 3 card mill combo. Aminatou, Oath of Teferi, Sphinx's Tutelage. You want Oath on the board then jam down Aminatou and tutelage. Plus and then minus aminatou targeting herself so she flickers and repeat. Each time you plus Tutelage will mill opponents for 2 cards for every card you draw.

Why do you want to take out Sphinx of Jwar Isle? Is it just too expensive for what it does? Is there another card that has a similar effect?

I waited all week for this episode, it’s the deck I chose to play in our playgroup when we play them unedited. I wanted to see your take on the deck. Was pretty much what I expected, could be fairly good fun and has the power there, but the commander 2018 series feels like it’s missing a few cards. Mainly reprints.

A card that I think is going to be great in this deck is an old card called penance. It is 2W for an enchantment that says put a card from your hand on top of your library: prevent all damage a black or red source would do. Instant speed put a miracle on top of your library. With something like sensei’s divining top to instant speed draw a card for no mana means that you can miracle anytime you want. And maybe prevent damage from a source if that is relevant. The source doesn’t have to be able to do damage it just has to be black or red. You play black in your deck so even if no one else is playing black or red you can target your own stuff.
