I hope you can help me, I am trying to see how Mirror-mad Phantasm would or would not work when caged by Mairisil because it says "a card named Mirror-Mad" would Mairisil's name be substituted since he pretends to be Mirror-Mad with this abitity? Thank You.

I've been low-key brewing this. Is there any way to get unwinding clock to untap the pretender? Lattice, yes, but does Liquid metal coating work? Do you have priority to use it in time?

wouldn't be Quest for Renewal a good card in the so you can untap him/her one time free each players turn?

Quest for renewal is green so it cant go in this EDH deck
