Progress Report, 20/08 - 21 (Patreon)

Hello everyone and welcome to an actually brief progress report!

This week's there's actually not much to report other than my job being annoying and that project work have continued apace in spite of it, with in particular the Wonder Woman comic making strides. With the intro scenes posed, though in a rough state, we have for the first time something resembling a comic running all the way from start to finish in terms of its scenery and narrative. What remains is for me to hash out the introduction script with conversation and narration, make sure the appropriate scenes are up to par, and then go through the whole ordeal to painstakingly make sure every shot has gotten the love it deserves in terms of smaller pose and expression details, lighting and so forth. Needless to say, it's not far off from getting full-fledged, finished pages now, with a few factors such as speech bubbles, panel arrangements etc posing as potential obstacles.

I figured I would simply complete the whole comic in one go and post in a single patreon post, so as to give you all a full impression immediately. Alternatively, I could post pages over time as I finish them if people would prefer a more frequent content drip instead of waiting, and I could just keep going back to update the same post whenever I have a new page ready. I'll give it some thought and take community feedback into consideration for how to proceed.

I'll give a heads-up here regarding the Monday Loop slated for the 30:th of August that it might face delays or cancellations as I am slated to get my second vaccination shot on the 26:th. I have set aside a few days of rest from work in the event I spring a fever or my work arm becomes a sore mess which will sadly cut into the time I'd need to prepare a loop - but you never know, some people have gotten away with mild discomforts, so we'll see how I fare :)

It's truly humbling to see such enthusiasm over the work I create, and I can only strive to live up to those expectations - hopefully you will enjoy the comic as well, though bear in mind it'll be my first attempt at one, so go easy on me :)
