Progress Report, 23/04 - 21 (Patreon)

Fridays are for crawling past the finish line that is the start of the weekend, plop yourself down at the computer, and do some darn reporting with strong coffee in hand.

Speaking of strong - make sure to make your voice heard in the on-going Muscular Lady Poll, where we're checking in on the community's views on just how muscular our strongest ladies should look. I believe I've managed it pretty well so far on my own, but it's always good to see where the community is at for some pointers.

Now, for the report! It seems the Scenario was well received overall, with people generally liking the direction and how it straddles the middle-ground between Loops and Projects. I've read and acknowledge your feedback, particularly those who are more keen on having additional, more static angles occur, and I will have to weigh your feedback against the crew whose feedback on my projects have always been to have longer, "lingering" shots of certain scenes and positions. Bearing in mind that we have at most 1 minute for Scenarios in terms of runtime, I cannot do both, but I think I might be able to find a sweet-spot with one or two still-shots from other angles to mix it up a bit, instead of just a singular, long swooping motion. Something to consider for the next Scenario, which I am slowly accruing ideas for, and which I'd love to eventually poll the community on :)

And be amazed, this week's most progress was actually done to the old Breaking the Lineage project! I'm revising the script as to have it more in line with my current content and quality expectations. Owing to the painful matter of Shinnok not having a working IK rig, I am turning it from a regular Project into what we've previously called a Short Project, expected to have a runtime of a little longer than 2 minutes. More on this over the coming weeks.

In other news I've finally managed to finish up the last commission that was paid for. I'll be contacting the next person on the list come next week, finish theirs, and then contact the next one, and on it will go. Hopefully I'll find a way to make commissions more expedient in the future when I open up more slots, but most crucially I think I will have to become a little more selective in how many I take on and exactly what I accept to work on. I'll keep people posted, since I know more than a few who are interested.

And that's it for this week. Short but sweet, I feel like on something of a roll content-wise lately with a high degree of motivation to work. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. I'm genuinely surprised at how people in the community can voice their preferences and pretty much never end up in an argument with others over their preferences, which is something I am very happy for - means we've fostered our own rather open-minded community here :)
