Progress Report, 23/10 - 20 (Patreon)

Pathetic!

Hello everyone and welcome to yet another in the line of progress reports!

As you can see I'm slowly advancing in terms of making our moist boy above serviceable for use. Whenever you try to make two rigs work together through bone attachment or even merger, it's like pressing a bunch of buttons and hoping the model won't immediately collapse in on itself like a black hole. Regardless, I'm still doing bone sorting as well, owing to the sheer amount of bones available on his XPS model and the fact that I want them all usable - being able to move his cape/robe bits for instance is extremely useful for posing, and not something that should be overlooked. As such, it's taking its sweet time, but it's also turning out, dare I say, fairly well so far. In the event I get XPS porting of males down to a tee, I might start looking into porting some female models as well. I'm looking at you, Benezia - though that is, most certainly, a thing for the future.

Besides, with whispers of a Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered, chances are we might have a much higher quality model around in the near future that I have no doubt the community will be interested in ripping.

In terms of the 3K/5K/6K celebration, I hit a small snag (the one I've expressed I feared) for the first scene where the RAM load became so heavy that it threatened to crash upon the very first creampie scene. Thankfully, I found a work-around through some scene fiddling, but damn if SFM isn't trying its best to make things crumble at times. Regardless, it's still in the works, and I'm waiting for the ol' Patreon money to arrive early next month to pay Moonie for the privilege of featuring her amazing voice acting, and then we should be pretty much set for release. It won't be a huge project, but it'll be nice getting it out the door, as I feel my motivation for it somewhat waning.

Speaking of motivation though, the Tifa project is finally having its script written properly. The way it's written so far will have the ordeal between Tifa and the Don be a bit voyeuristic, with the viewer (and someone else) watching from the window of her apartment, and with cuts to close-ups owing to Don Corneo's video equipment. From the looks of it, I'm either going to have to find someone who can adequately give life to Don Corneo's voice, or I am going to have to pretend he's gone mute for the whole ordeal. The community overall, whenever I raise the question, seems rather split on male voice acting in content - some insisting that it's necessary for the scenes to pop, and others insisting it ruins them. Something, no doubt, to poll this community on in the near future. Regardless, I am looking forward to this Don Corneo model port to finally be Done Corneo.

Lots of exciting stuff happening on the horizon, everyone. Thank you, as always, for your continued support, and for all of your kind words! Heading into November, my schedule tends to ease up before ramping up again towards Christmas - for which I hope to have another Christmas Short done, or the likes. Meanwhile, look forward to the Mass Effect Halloween wallpaper next week, it's been in the works for some time and is rather extensive :)
