But I digress! Hello everyone and welcome to a very brief progress report!

The past week has been brutal, but my motivation for the project at hand remains high! Though scrambling for time, I've managed to begin proper re-animation of previously animated scenes while still working on finding poses and interesting tidbits for the greenscreen fast-forward scene behind Tidus - for which I believe I have at least a handful of good ideas in mind.

In fact, if you have any ideas for what Lulu might be doing in the background while Tidus is zoning out in the foreground, don't hesitate to share it below in the comments or in a message to me. I've queried the Discord crew for similar input, and while I can't guarantee it'll make the cut, you never know what suggestions might work their way in. Mind that these will be short, sped-up, ghostly apparitions meant to convey the passage of time, so they won't be super detailed, which is why very detailed stuff probably won't be visible!

All this being said, work is underway! I'm fitting the voice acting to the animation as I work, which is a more studious, slow process than trying to dub it in post, but the end result is much more detailed and flows much better with the general pace of scenes.

I'm in one of those awkward mid-stages where there isn't much to share about the project other than "it is being worked on, and things are actually going well". What I can say is that we're aiming for a release this month, perhaps in time for my birthday at the end of august. Let us hope the planets aligns so we can finally, after all this time, get to see Lady of the Woods 2 in its full glory - and that I can meet expectations :)

The heat has returned with a vengeance, meaning all us ill-prepared northerners are grinding to a halt once more. Thankfully, I found the funds to actually acquire a proper floor fan, and shutting all windows and not letting the sun in, pretending the outside world isn't happening, seems to work in conjunction with it. Stay hydrated, wash them hands, and we'll get through this yet!
