Progress Report, 19/04 - 19 (Patreon)

Fridays are for Easter preparations and brief progress reports on the past week's shenanigans.
Past week's been full steam ahead with particularly the Alexstrasza project, those winks of spare time energy I've found. It takes a little while to get into the rhythm of a new job and you initially tend to find yourself rather exhausted, particularly as the work hours are so different from what I'm used to. Conversely, I was hit by a shock when I realized an old staple in Warcraft porn making Rexx (or Rexxcraft) had been personally handed a Cease and Desist letter by Blizzard themselves, forcing him to close his webpage and remove almost all his material. While I'm not nearly as structured in my work around Warcraft specifically (which I believe was the downfall of Rexx, having become too synonymous with the IP online) it still does make me nervous, and if Blizzard are on the war path at the moment chasing down perceived infringements on their intellectual property, I'm of the mind that I'll want to lie low for at least a little bit. Granted, the Dragonmaw project is still a way to go, so maybe I shouldn't be too sweaty about it.
In Mass Effect news, the "Vorcha Sample" project is making headway in its script writing. I've also scouted a bunch of voice actors for the purpose of getting some more leeway when it comes to my little story snippets, and hope to find a time in their busy schedules to get a few voice lines to spice things up.
Lulu's accursed braid issue has been resolved - I have opted to simply remove it, pretending it's all wrapped up in that huge hair bun of hers, in order to keep my sanity intact. This'll enable me to work more reliably on the two projects we have featuring her.
The Syx project is currently in a standstill, but I still mean to look into potential solutions in the near future. My hopes is that it won't all crash and burn, as I really liked the whole concept of it all, and really wanted it made. We shall see what the future has in store for us.
As always, thank you so much for your continued support, and for all of your kind words! The weather here fluctuates between minus degrees in the morning, forcing me to scrape the windows of my car free from frost, and summery temperature with a scorching sun in the day, meaning it's ripe for horrible colds and sunburn alike. May we all survive these strange, strange times :)
Take care of yourselves, and each other!
