News: March 2023 (Patreon)

Helga's main quest is nearing completion. There's quite a few renders still left as of right now. Most of them are ready, just waiting to be rendered. The entire quest line and ending are completed, again, just waiting for the renders. The goal is to have everything ready for the next update. If that's not the case, I'll hold back the final step of the quest and the ending for the next update.

The only other thing I have planned beyond that for this update is new scenes for Helga. Once all of the ending images are ready to render, I'll start working on scenes. They may or may not make it in this update depending on how much gets rendered.

There are some other plans beyond the quests, endings, and scenes for the main 3 characters. I've just been stuck on the grind to finish those up for the past few updates. The game won't abruptly be marked as complete just because those 3 endings are in the game. I'll be working on the rest of the planned content after, including even more endings and scenes. Having said that, though, I really can't wait to get back to SC's development. More on that later.

You might have noticed the new Patreon tiers. I added those for anyone who wishes to donate more while still receiving all of the normal benefits. I don't know if it still works this way, but in the past, if you donated an amount other than what the offered tiers were, you didn't actually get any of the tier rewards. I don't plan on adding anything special to those new tiers, except for the last one. If someone donates at that tier, that's a lot of money. I'll gladly work with you to add some sort of custom content of your choosing to the current game as long as it fits the game's design/genre.

I had to do some sort of update for the Patreon integration to Discord. It's suppose to remove your roles when you're no longer a Patron or something like that. I don't really care for this, but it forced me to update. I think permanent roles are fine, but whatever. If the Patreon bot starts doing weird shit, I'll just remove it and manage Discord manually.
