News: February 2023 (Patreon)

The next update brings some new quest progression for Echo. Several images for Echo and the MC have already been made for the quests. Conversation bits will still use the side pictures. Any sort of action will be coupled with new unique renders featuring the girls and sometimes others who are involved with the quest. This style isn't really what I planned for GnB, but it has been requested more than once. If all is well received, the other character quests and endings will follow the same style.

Echo's quest line is roughly eight quests long plus the ending. One step is optional. The first quest is already in the game. I originally planned on adding the entire rest of the quest line plus the ending in a single update, but that isn't looking very likely due to the addition of unique renders. The unique renders take quite a bit of time to make. As of right now, step 2 is nearly complete with 17 unique renders. Step 3 is mostly conversation and can be done without too many unique renders.

Beyond that, I want to add at least one new scene. It will probably be an Echo scene since this is her update, despite her having the most scenes already. Once the scene is done, I'll return to working on her quest. Not yet sure how many steps will be added, specially with this being a shorter month.

I'm going to go ahead and end the character customization poll. There's still a couple days left as of this post if you haven't voted. There looks to be a pretty clear winner, though. The MC's short, white hair option is already completed, just not rendered. (You might have seen a small preview here or there.) I have a good idea of what the other 3 will be. Feel free to leave any suggestions on what hair styles and/or colors you would like to see. (Assuming that option wins.)

Lastly there's bugfixes. There's quite a few already. Seems like they all came out of nowhere suddenly. Sorry for any inconvenience. If you find any bugs, errors, or otherwise, you can report them to me on Patreon, Discord, or anywhere else you're following me. One thing I don't like is a game full of bugs. GnB might not be the best game ever, but I'll make damn sure it works properly. That much you can count on. ;)
