News: November 2020 and Roadmap (Patreon)

Serenity Circle's file size is quickly reaching the upload limit on Newgrounds. I originally uploaded there due to not being able to publish Mac versions, which I now can. This leaves me with two options for Newgrounds. I can spend extra time lowering the file size for the Newgrounds version or I can just stop posting on Newgrounds once the file size exceeds the limit. Let me know which you would prefer. Either way, the downloadable versions posted here on Patreon will remain unaffected.

I'm adding a quest to help new players find the portal room easier. For those past the point where you get the quest, check the NPC on the main campus by the big door. I'm also adjusting the rate of gaining exp from class a little. After a few play-tests, I think it's too slow/grindy. The main quest will advance a few stages with the next release. I want to add a bit more to the classrooms if time allows. There should be a new scene or two as well.

Here's a roadmap for the next few releases. Some things may change.

v0.6 This will focus on the main quest. Some of the "in development" parts of the game should get updated.

v0.7 I want to try to add as much of the missing content/scenes as possible before moving on to adding new features.

v0.8 The plan is to add pregnancy in this or the version after. Every scene needs to be updated so this could very well take several updates to get everything added.

v0.9+ Nothing is set in stone here yet. Instead I'll just list the planned features. Your suggestions or requests can bump things up higher on the list.

Planned features:
- Pregnancy: With visual progression, enable/disable option, etc.
- School Clubs: They will be similar to classes with unique quests, characters, scenes, etc.
- Missions: These will be an alternative to classes. They could involve everything from combat to puzzles to problem solving(including sex scenes). They will most notably reward player exp.
- Classrooms: There's still a lot to add to these, including 2 more planned summons.
- NPCs for dating: I have 4 planned, including Vivi. The other 3 will be tied to clubs so that update will need to happen first. The two males will be in the book and sports clubs. The female will be in the alchemy club.
- Main Quest: The next segment will be a split path. After that you will get to see a familiar face. Beyond that is.. Well, I better not spoil anything. There's quite a good bit more main quest to add.
- Side Quests: I'll just be adding these here and there. Some will chain into more quests. Some will have scenes.
- New worlds: I want to added the home planet for every major race you will meet at the school to the portal room. Some other places are planned as well.
- More character customization: Tattoos are the only new addition I have planned right now. Every scene has to be updated for new additions so there probably won't be too many more. More new outfits will definitely happen since that doesn't require updating scenes.
- Sex toys: You might have noticed some placeholder options in the dorm room. This is planned to be added there. I don't know how many I'll add. They won't be present in scenes. There will be some unique scenes involving sex toys, though.

I expect SC to take a little bit longer to finish than CM did. I wrote a lot there, sorry. :)
