F.A.Q:

Desserts section not working - please remove the chocolate egg ice cream dessert recipe as it requires the cool kitchen stuff pack to work.
Recipes missing - each recipe requires a different cooking skill level and will only be available to cook if your sim has the level required.
Last Exception (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get_model') - You have an outdated version of the cookbook please delete and download the latest version.

Olde Cookbook Kit showing in Better Exceptions  - I am currently overhauling this and will take some time. The mod is still okay to use in its current state but feel free to remove.

Hello, I am new to downloading mods and recently downloaded the grannie recipes. however, the desserts arent working on my game. How can I fix this?

Do you have the chocolate egg icecream dessert version without having the cool kitchen sp? That food requires the ice cream maker. There is a straight from the fridge snack version that is base game compatible.

I will look into it, My Better Exception mod keeps catching it saying that I need to update Grannie Cookbook is there a new version to download?

I don't have cool kitchen, I redownloaded everything. Hopefully, that helps.

Are you extracting everything correctly? Package files are fine as they are but if you are downloading the bulk recipes they come zipped so you need to take them out of the zip and then into your mods folder. Have you ruled out a possible mod conflict/made sure all other mods are up to date?

2023-03-01 11:27:19 Yes, I made sure everything is working correctly, it's working now. However, my desserts still don't work. Also, the mod needs to be updated, my better exceptions mod is scanning it.

The cookbook is working, better exceptions is likely just detecting a slight tuning change with the older recipes. The chocolate egg icecream recipe causes the desserts section to not work correctly if you don't own the cool kitchen sp. You need to remove that recipe and it should work fine for you.

I love your recipes Littlebowbub. yours don't get a corrupted error when I download them. I even use curse force sometimes to download your recipes keep up the good work:)
