2021-07-14 19:07:56 More than anything else this reminds me of the sort of hallucinogenic experiences individuals experimenting with LSD (in its early days) could encounter....in which the linear nature of time & space are reordered or resorted into the most compacted (shorthanded) form possible....and unless one had access to the original biochemical keying mechanism or algorithm, the image didn’t necessarily make a lot of immediate sense, but the effect of viewing it can be overpowering.....because it’s a little like being able to experience or have access to the experiences of a years’ time in an instant. There have been many pieces of great original art (both religious and fantastical) and stories developed that originated in such experiences. Even more naturally occurring substances can cause hallucinations.....see ergot and the Salem Witch Trials or conditions in France around the time of Joan of Arc (Arcadia). It’s really fascinating.
