Refunds, TG Animation Contest and More (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I want to talk about offering some refunds, the upcoming TG Animation Contest (8th March is the deadline for the artists) and what I've been up to and what's planned.

Refunds:

I want to offer refunds for the last and the upcoming charge due to inactivity/lack of new content. This applies to everyone who isn't a first time pledge. If you wish to get a refund please write me a PM here on Patreon. I'll refund you the February charge and the March charge as soon as it's available. This doesn't mean I don't plan any content during March, this is for January and February belatedly.

TG Animation Contest:

The TG Animation Contest's deadline ends on the 8th of March. This means the artists have to have submitted their final submission for the contest to get scored by a from me selected jury. The jury has time to score everyone until the 15th but I assume they'll do earlier. I'll post a teaser and announce a date for a livestream where the winner gets announced and where you can see all the participants animations as soon as all scores are in. If you miss the livestream, don't worry, some artists will publish their animations for free publicly as soon as the contest is over but the exclusive animations will be posted on my Patreon with a 2 week delay to the participants launch. If you can't wait, I suggest pledging to their Patreons, buy it or however they plan to monetize it. :P

My Projects

I was working on setting up everything for the final shot for the Magic Potion animation and had to deal with a few issues. I reported them and all but one got fixed already. The one issue was rig related and the developer who would've been able to fix it went into 2 weeks of vacation. I wanted to wait until it's getting fixed to avoid potential issues while I'm in the middle of finishing it but it's not fixed yet and I'll just brute force it / try my luck and look for work arounds if issues occur. During this time I invested also a lot of time into setting up a base character from which I can basically do all future animations to streamline my workflow a lot and speed things up. As of now I do all characters from ground and this also makes me encounter constantly new issues when I update the addon I use for Blender. I hope to avoid most of these issue with having a mostly fully set up character where I just have to add the skin and morphs I need.

I'm sorry for the silence and the slacking, I hope to get back on track ASAP and please look forward to the contest. Some submissions and WIPs are already in and I think you'll like it. :)
