This month was quite busy.
Next to the project I released today (Master's Wand), a new generation of models released in Daz 3D store.
I did a lot of bug reporting to get it running with Blender. The key features would be:

  • A bit better detail for close-ups
  • Eyes and mouth are separate from the main body which makes it easier for me to replace them and male and female are one mesh now which potentially is gonna speed up the process of creating content because I don't have to go forth and back between 2 genders to exchange morphs anymore.
  •  Last but not least the mesh is more even which makes it most likely better for animation and simulations.

I don't work on something utilizing this new generation currently but I'll probably do something like the semi-animated pin-up TG I released recently but a entire sequence perhaps. Here's a introduction page if you're curious:

There's a few things I was testing to either improve on something I already did/do or to do something new, namely:

  • Physics for genitals (I did first tests and it seems to work well, I just have to figure out how and where I'm gonna use it. I tried a walk cycle with it and the schlong moves nicely but with at least a more feminine walk I have a bit of collissions issues with the legs :D
  • Hair growth test by proximity for more controlled growing or shrinking of hair depending on the location of a object and also add deformation depending on proximity which gives hair subtle movement during the change and it's less linear (see GIF example above)
  • Working more on figuring out growing and shrinking of the entire body in Blender. It turns out there was a couple of bugs which were a bit of a hindrance for that. One was that when I scaled for example the shoulder, the entire arm got scaled. This is fixed now. The other one is some workflow where the hands and legs start rotating on their own. There is no fix for that so far but I have a work around
  • Figuring out a workflow with using HD details of morphs with displacement maps instead of relying on actual mesh morphs. There's a node screenshot above. Most if not all of you probably can't do much with it but I guess a illustration more instead of less is better than nothing^^
  • Adding anticipation movement before a change occurs, like shaking of body parts. See Master's Wand or the butt GIF I added
  • Some partial body parts changing as test/training like the goblin ear, belly growth (no I don't plan on preggo transformation^^) and face
  • A smooth transition from a male walk to a female walk. I added a GIF on top to take a look. The few TG animations I saw where a character changes during a walk already started with a female walk and ended with a female walk which looks really odd. I wanted to improve on that (I added a GIF on top to take look)...
  • ...and probably more I forgot to mention

What I'm currently working on:

I did a bunch of testing to prepare for a transformation of a nerd into a athletic muscular and taller woman. I've to make sure that everything I've planned with it is gonna work together and this needs a lot of testing of separate components. While I did this I encountered a couple of bugs which needed to either get reported and fixed or I needed some work around. I added a concept image of the nerd and the athletic woman. It's not 100% final but mostly the gist of it. That animation will be rather quick to do and I estimate a week from now and then I'm gonna jump on Project Chastise again. Project Chastise is gonna need a full rework (yes, again^^) because I've to change a bunch of things to avoid all the issues I had the past months. I want to add more things to the foundation I already have to make it more worthwhile though.

As always, thank you for your support. <3
I'll be posting new reward folders tomorrow with the new content added.

P.S.: I saw that a bunch of people were interested into a version of Midnight Woman 2022 with sound. I noticed that interest but I didn't make a decision yet. Just letting you know that your voices don't vanish into the void.
