Hi Zac & Jesse, I am a teacher in a private school in Monterrey, Mexico (about 4-5 hours south of San Antonio, TX) and I wanted you to know that I have shown several of your videos to my students. With my Environmental Science students, I used your video about tailpipe emissions to start teaching them about PM2.5, with my Astrophysics/Cosmology class we learned the mathematics of the 'S' curve and the innovations of SpaceX and watched several key launches in the past couple of years and in my AP Physics 1 and 2 classes, we learned how the 'S' curve is predictive of how the electrification of vehicle transport (as well as other types of transport) is both imminent and mathematically predictable but that our society is soon to get an awakening when electric car prices hit price parity with ICE vehicles in the coming few years. Currently, I am working on a solar project where our entire 3000 student/teacher/support staff school will begin installing solar panels on our campus and my Env. Science students research into the power generation we can actually produce from our rooftops and by building solar shades in our parking lots, was the key factor to get the project off the ground. We're hoping that we can convince the school board to invest a little over 2 million USD into the project to have our entire campus run 100% on solar energy. I don't know of any schools that are this ambitious yet, so we're hoping to really break some ground here in the next few years. I wanted to express my gratitude to your channel as it is my favourite (I'm Canadian and that's how we spell favourite) show to watch on youtube and I look forward to every Monday/Tuesday's shows. I often use some of the information that you guys procure, in my lectures and am convincing whole generations of my students to consider electrical engineering as a future career option. I am holding out for the Tesla 'Y' as the vehicle which is right for my lifestyle but having been a fan of your show for the past eighteen months or so now, I feel confident I know how the Tesla's work. When the 'Y' becomes an option, I'll use your referral code in the hopes of convincing you to expand your country wide tour to dip down a couple of hours into Mexico. Mountain Communities project after Election 2020 IN Cooperation with Raul Ruiz CA 36 and Juan Vargas CA52 with Assembly Candidate Elizabeth Lavertu ADM 71; A project to have Solar Powered with Battery with a 1500 Gallon Phoscheck tank underneath to provide Charging Stations and also Fire protection as a self help project. THIS project will be done by local people like the Cherokee Chief Wilma Mankiller who Said give me the pieces and equipment and WE will do it, thus bypassing the Government contractor. Equipment proposed is JCB 19C-1EE-TEC electric Excavator and a full tracked TELESKID 3TS-8W/3TS-8T loader( Jordan Implements Robert Conway El Centro California). CALSTART will get the eighty-percent grant For each of these stations. This is one of the pieces of equipment 3TS-8W/3TS-8T Teleskid. Your vote can make a difference between FIRES and clean energy with new jobs.
