Measure the lag of the Bluetooth answer from the car. If it's too big, the phone is too far, don't give the password. Simple enough, if it can be measured with enough precision. A big IF. The robot worker or entertainer? For Tesla, the answer is easy, as the worker fits the mission to do the most good to mankind, as nice as the entertainer would be. If XPeng does a good job of it, Tesla won't even try to do something similar. If not, I'm sure Tesla will make something about it someday, when there is nothing less important to do. Maybe a robot will want to make something about it… Seeing how bad a work most people do with their children or other people children, a robonanny that dare criticize parents and teachers would probably be a great help. About attachment to robots, it's frightening to me too, because it's so new and touches something important. But how could that be bad in any way? It's very likely to be a good thing. That fear seem very similar to the one of people rejecting the idea of an electric car that will electrocute drivers when they are wet and can't drive fast enough! "Where there is a will, there is a way" is backwards though. It is "wishfool" thinking, even, although maybe think it's true. And that belief causes a lot of pain to people that can't do and are accused to have a lack of will. It obviously doesn't make sense that just willing something makes it possible. With ten thousand times the will of the williest person in history, you won't manage to teleport yourself, sprout wings or wake the dead. But with "Where there is a way, there is a will", then you make a lot of sense.
