It's disgraceful how people behave. Sadly, politicians rank near or at the bottom of society's trust level unless something's changed. Sadder is that many people will vote for him and his political party let's him get away with this. On the bright side is Elon's ability to stay on target and let the FUD splash off his back like a duck in water..while shedding a few tears along the way. PS People need to give Elon more understanding for the delays in FSD research and development. FSD has had major evolutionary changes of directions, the biggest is the need to solve human AI for the first time in history.

I really appreciate you're hard work Zac and Jessie and staff. I have been a Patreon for a while now but wanted to provide some feedback. I deactivated my twitter account and deleted the app on 4-25-22 so I won't be watching the tweets of the week. I suspect millions of people will be doing the same. The thing that concerns me the most is how this impacts Tesla writ large. I know there are already people who refuse the order and buy a Tesla because of Musk. Whether that's justified or not is not the point. The point is, the transition to electrification should never be impacted by the individual most responsible for making it happen in the first place. I was recently asked to give a presentation on electric vehicles and had very positive feedback and lots of questions after showing our transition to solar and EV's. The one negative was folks who perceive Musk in uncomplimentary ways and as a result, are hesitant to order a Tesla, in spite of it being far and away the best product out there. In my view, twitter is a way for the rich and famous to tell the world what they think. That's as far as it goes for me, so I will never miss it. The real issue for me is, our government is considering a 33 billion dollar aid package for Ukraine while Musk blows 44 billion on an app that renders peoples opinions about whatever comes to mind at the time. Worse yet, The United Nations World Food Program is experiencing an immediate crisis due to the port of Odessa being shut down and a 10 billion dollar shortfall in their budget, while Musk spends 44 billion on an app, that if it went away tomorrow would not impact the feeding of the hungry one whit. You get the point. I wish Musk could focus more on his initial goals to transition the world to a sustainable future. I say all this knowing that I am just one small voice. I am obviously no where near as smart as Musk is, (realistically, not even in the same universe). In fact, most people are smarter than me for that matter. I do know history a bit. I saw what happened to another genius when I was a kid, Howard Hughes. I sincerely hope Musk is not headed over the same cliff he did. That would be a tragedy for sure.
