The city-state of Quana welcomes the heroes who defeated the Progenitor in the Valley of Ventris and invites them to partake in a religious ritual that symbolises man’s ever-lasting battle against the storm demon Kalami. The ritual takes a horrid turn, however, for as soon as one of the PCs’ blood is shed, all hell breaks loose in Quana. Meteors crash down from the sky, fires break out all around, and fiendish demons run amok in the streets. It’s up to the PCs to escape the mayhem that ensues while being hunted by creatures from the darkest corners of the Abyss… As above, so below is the fifth part of the Mini Monster Mayhem campaign, but it can also be played as a self-contained module for four 5th-level characters. It includes a new subclass of animistic priests, as well as a background that allows player characters to hail from the city-state of Quana.
