This months paint win goes to Kyle Gustafson!

Chosen as the winner because the complimentary color scheme on the Remorhaz and the fact it was pulled into the classic D&D world even more by sharing the color scheme of the traditional Remorhaz. Along with the pile of dead bodies as an additional time consuming piece.

You all made this, once again, extremely difficult. Theres always something awesome about each submission that makes me have to stop and think "why am I choosing this one over that one". Ill say this every time one of these competitions end. I was a game character artist for over a decade and Ive been texturing characters for a long time. Every bit of color you all apply to these, I look at. I understand the work that goes into any technique when painting, not in the same medium but I dont overlook details and techniques used.

From seeing the quick turn arounds to the spirit dragon, be partial to the wings, Im drawn to them. The wyrm paint jobs, something about the faces were really great on both submissions.

The Cursed dragon seemed to lend it self to a really nice color scheme, among all three submissions. Attention to custom base detail on Bensons was huge, as well, very original idea.

Still thoroughly enjoy seeing the Crystal dragon in the mix, still  one of my favorite dragons.

The attention to all the filigree on the Construct, I know that was  very time consuming( still want to see more angles of it!).

Though completely different styles, I can see all the time put into the Vile Steel Dragons. Whether it be specific detail on each armor plate or adding color blending across the entire piece.

Thank you all again for being part of this months competition. I hope to see you all participate again. I absolutely love seeing each take on these sculpts that are created.
