November 2023 video round up! (Patreon)

That photo up above is a shot I took during a livestream in November and it's one of my favorite photos I have ever taken. It was a dude driving an old steam train through Chichibu. A stream train!

Ok, welcome to (the middle of) December, everyone! Hope things are going well for you, we have a few things brewing as always. Of note in November we enjoyed the wonderful weather doing some livestreams, I've continued my obsession with getting better at photography by seeing how bad I am at it (seriously though, that's the fun of learning something new) and November was also the last month Kyde couldn't ride on Scooty with me! We now can ride together, which we did December 1st for the first time. And it was a cold one, haha.  

Our "Us Watching Us" series has come to a pause point in November. We plan to pick it up again sometime in the early part of 2024, but we need to get some things sorted in life before we can do that, more on that below.

In bad news from November I dropped my phone off Scooty and watched like 10 cars run it over. It....totally killed the screen. Future Plans!
Ok, regarding that mention up above about things we need to get sorted soon...Kyde is having surgery in January. Nothing super serious, but she will be in the hospital for 5 or 6 days total, and we aren't super clear what her recovery and such is going to be like, so we are keeping the schedule open for now on the time surrounding the operation. For the curious she has for years had an issue with her thyroid and it's just become an opportune time to have the problematic bit removed so she's doing it.  Expect some sort of video discussing the process. We had planned to film a lot about it starting with the "pre-test" portion at the hospital this past week, but to be honest it's just too hectic and stressful to add making a video on top of it. Not to mention that filming in a busy hospital is hard to do without being rude, so we didn't film. We'll see what develops, as it's something we'd like to share. I mean, surgery in Japan! What is that like? So it might end up a fully fleshed out video, it might also just end up a discussion video style thing for Patreon, we'll see.

Also coming up in the spring will be a really cool festival we are stoked about. Other than that expect some dual scooty videos soon, and if you are following on Twitch we should keep at it with livestreams as usual.

Oh, we also want to...make some music! I'm not sure exactly when that will pan out, but it's something I've been working on in the background, so that'll be a very different but fun thing for us to do together.

Thanks to everyone here for the support to keep making things. Honestly things have been a little stressful recently, but knowing we have some folks that have got our backs and are enjoying what we are making helps a lot. Looking forward to sharing more, as we always are.
