We missed a digital stamp rally but decided to hunt out some cool looking manholes around Tokyo anyways! This video was a lot of fun to film and edit, we hope you enjoy it!

We are headed out of town tomorrow and will be back around the New Year, so this is the final video of 2022 but we should have stuff on the way from this week's trip in early 2023!

Hope everyone has a nice holiday and New Year, thanks for all your support this year. Looking forward to bringing everyone more fun next year!

Hi Eric and Kyde! I really enjoyed this video. I wonder, was there a person or part of the country that first started to put interesting designs on manhole covers? Any idea of the history of manhole covers in Japan? I hope you have a great trip down south! It should be warmer, I'd think? I'd like to thank you both for another fun year of video's and postcards!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :-)

Hi Larry, glad you enjoyed! I'm actually not sure of the history of manhole designs in Japan or how it started, that's a great question. -E

Loved this video. Always been fascinated by the art on these. Side note...was that A DOUBLE DECKER CARRIAGE in the train at the end?!

Haha, yea, some of the trains that go further out of the city do have double decker carriages. They are kinda rare, but exist. You usually have to pay a premium to ride in them. -E
