If you purchase anymore travel books to plan any more trips in the future, have you thought about getting electronic versions? Five benefits I can think of offhand are 1) no added weight, 2) no extra physical space needed in travel bag, 3) Usually less expensive than the physical books, 4) will receive the latest edition of said book, and 5) can access it from any compatible device.

We have tried the digital thing in the past, but during our 2009 trip there weren't any devices that made reading them easy so it really wasn't an option then. What we have found is for quick reference info it's almost always better to have a physical book. It's just faster to access, easier to dig around back and forth in, etc. Sometimes now we use google documents with links in it and stuff for trips and that's...ok....but not as robust as a physical book. It's worth the slight added weight, in our opinion, for most experiences.
