Loved the video! Can't wait to see when Eric will FINALLY make it to Hokkaido! A couple of quick comments (from the end card)... 1. I am so happy to hear that Eric is a fan of Wes Anderson films. I find his films so incredible in so many ways...the direction, the worlds he creates and looks of the films and so unique and whimsical. The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Darjeeling Express might be my favorites, but I love all of Anderson's films. 2. During the end card of this video, at one point it looks like police officers are writing tickets for vehicles parked behind you. Before that happened I thought it seemed like bikes/motorcycles were parked on the special tactile paving for the blind, and I couldn't help but wonder if the police in the background were writing people tickets because they had parked on it.

so, I used to live up north pretty close to where you were and the extra heat you get... I want to say is from the higher humidity. That humidity is what causes it to be so cold and snow so much during the winter. the water in the air acts kind of like a magnifying glass for the sun.

I'm with you about loving all his films. Without a doubt The Grand Budapest Hotel is my favorite, probably followed by Rushmore. But it's so hard to put them in any order as they are all wonderful. I can say that Kyde's favorite is without a doubt Fantastic Mr Fox. Hahaha. Yea, haha, we didn't notice the ticket being issued until people started mentioning it in the comments. No idea what was going on or why.
